Driving process and horizontal reaction force of 18 horsepower positive direction transport tractor

The 18 horsepower positive direction transport tractor mainly relies on the power of the internal combustion engine through the transmission system during the driving process, so that the driving wheel can obtain the driving torque Mk, and the driving wheel that obtains the driving torque passes through the tire tread and the tire surface to the ground to be small and backward. The horizontal force (tangential force), and the horizontal reaction force Pk, which is equal in magnitude and opposite in direction, is the driving force (also called propulsive force) that pushes the tractor forward.

The 18-horsepower forward-direction transport tractor runs forward when the driving force Pk is sufficient to overcome the forward rolling resistance of the front and rear wheels and the traction resistance of the farm implement. If the drive wheel is off the ground and the driving force Pk is equal to zero, the drive wheel can only be idling in place and the tractor cannot drive. If the sum of the rolling resistance and the traction resistance is greater than the driving force Pk, the tractor cannot travel. It can be seen that the wheeled tractor travels by the interaction between the driving torque driving wheel and the ground, and the driving force is greater than the sum of the rolling resistance and the traction resistance.

The 18 horsepower positive direction transports the horizontal reaction force of the road surface to the driving wheel during operation, so the internal combustion engine can transmit the driving torque Mk on the driving wheel through the transmission system, indicating that the driving force Pk of the tractor is also larger. However, since Mk is determined by the power of the internal combustion engine, Pk is also limited by the power of the internal combustion engine. At the same time, Pk is limited by soil conditions and cannot be increased indefinitely, because when the reaction force of the soil, that is, the driving force Pk is increased to a certain extent, the soil is destroyed, the driving wheel is severely slipped, and the driving force Pk cannot be increased any more. We call the maximum reaction force that the soil can produce on the drive wheel "adhesion." It can be seen that the maximum value of the driving force Pk is limited by the power of the internal combustion engine and is limited by the soil adhesion, and cannot be increased indefinitely.
